GREAT NEWS: The only film I’ve appeared in as a martial artist has now been completed. Filmed in the Fall of 2022, just after my fiftieth anniversary of martial arts training, it’s a sort of documentary featuring various kinds of people in bespoke segments. I can’t say much else about it because it’s going on the festival circuit even now. But the director has done well in film festivals and he’s had films on Neflix. So… I’ll see this one if and when it releases at Sidewalk Film Festival in Birmingham. Or on Netflix?

MORE GREAT NEWS: the same director has invited me to portray a character in his next film, a narrative feature, shooting this summer. It’s looking like a good year for film.

AND EVEN MORE GREAT NEWS: my aikido book, The Heart of Aikido, is also nearing completion with plans for a paperback release this summer!

AND MORE STUFF: New look, new focus on Arts and Martial Arts books and films, including novels, short stories, screenplays, and films. On the martial arts side, I have a number of small books and one fairly large book in progress for eventual release. Esoteric Orange will also carry my three blogs, My Sweet Little Sky, Orange Esoterica, and Daydreamer’s Holiday.
